Virginia Warner Art began as a way to capture the heart of home through hand-painted artwork-but it's become something even more meaningful. This is a space where creativity, storytelling, and a sense of belonging come together.

Whether it's a piece of art that honors a beloved place or a seat at one of our seasonal retreats or creative workshops, everything I offer is rooted in connection. I believe in making space for beauty, slowing down, and celebrating what matters most-home, memory, and community.

I create from my home in the mountains of Southwest Virginia, where each season brings fresh inspiration. My hope is that this space feels like a deep breath, a warm welcome, and an open invitation to pause, reflect, and create.

I worked with Virginia for a watercolour painting of my store, Mrs Blackwell's Village Bookshop in Greytown, New Zealand. I was absolutely thrilled with the result, especially because Virginia has never actually been here, but she was still able to perfectly capture the essence of our store. With permission, we have turned her painting into postcards that we send out with online orders, and Ex Libris bookplates (pictured) which customers can add to their books to remind them where they purchased them.
